Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you a wonderful holiday weekend!
Amelia advertises support for "Outlook" but its not exactly true. I use Outlook Desktop and do not keep my email nor calendars in cloud-based systems such as M365 or Gmail. I was sorry to learn after my Amelia purchase that I could not import an ICS file of my appointments to Amelia to have it block busy times to prevent clients from scheduling appointments when I would be unavailable. I sent in a ticket , but the response was unsatisfactory.
In response, I created my own companion plugin that ingests ICS files and creates blocking appointments in Amelia using a pseudo customer, service, category, and location. It works for me in concert with some VBA code in my outlook that produces an obsfucated ICS file of appointments out over the next 90 days and then uses an API that uploads and processes the file to my website blocking those times in amelia.
I'm sure more people would use Amelia if it had ICS support. I would like to offer this companion plugin to Amelia so that they may incorporate ICS support into Amelia booking to support ICS files and Outlook Desktop.
To whom should I address this offer?
