We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I connected my WPDatatables account to an API service account to fix the most recent glitch where they couldn't populate. After connecting the account my new datatables updated but all the previous datatables are marked "Forbidden"

Hello,
Google has recently updated its security policies, affecting how Google Spreadsheets connect to third-party applications.
As a result, existing spreadsheets created before this change will continue to work without issues. However, newly created Google Sheets will encounter connection errors due to these updated security protocols.
For the newly created Google Sheets with wpDataTables, you’ll need to connect your Google API service account in the plugin settings/Google Spreadsheet API settings.
You can find detailed instructions on setting up a Google API service account here.
Once your Google API service account is added to our plugin, you won’t need to repeat this step, and all Google Sheets functionalities will work as before.
Let me know if you need further assistance!
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Hi Milo’s,
I wrote this in the initial ticket but I have already followed the steps to connect my Google API service account. This worked for all new tables but now the existing spreadsheets created before the change show as “Forbidden” and I can’t edit them.
Thanks,
Zach
Hi Zach,
That is strange. So far, we have received reports from users (as well as from our own testing) that all old spreadsheets are working fine, even without connecting the Google API service account in our plugin settings.
This new method is required for using new spreadsheets, but you are experiencing a different issue—almost the opposite scenario.
My apologies—I misunderstood at first, but after re-reading all the details, I now see what you mean.
Could you check the following:
If you've verified everything and still can't isolate the problem, could you send us remote Admin access to the site?
If you can provide Admin credentials or create a new Admin user for my email (found in my signature), please mark your reply as PRIVATE for security reasons.
Thank you!
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Hello, has there been any resolution to this ? We are having the same problem. I posted at the start of the week but have not heard back from support.
my ticket https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com/ticket/3847755
Thank you for any assitance.
Hello everyone,
Google Sheets Connection Update:Since this is a public ticket, we just want to update all users who might come across it on our progress for this issue.
We are currently making an improvement on how tables are linked from Google Sheets for all premium licence plans.
Recently, Google changed the way third-party applications connect to Google Sheets, which affected our previous method. Our developers are almost finished updating our integration to align with these changes.
More details on this change here.
Your Options Right Now:- If you have a Standard license plan(or higher), you can immediately use our Google API connection method without any issues.
- If you choose the Starter plan, tables not linked via Google API are currently affected since the Starter Plan does not include the Google API, but a solution is on the way with high priority.
Upcoming solution:This new update is scheduled for next week; however, we can’t guarantee an exact ETA due to the final testing stage, as explained above.
Thank you to everyone for your patience.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that our new update is live, including this improvement/fix for the Google Sheet issues.
You can check out our updated guide in the documentation, where we've highlighted the changes.
The simplest method is to fully publish each Sheet and then use the link from the Publish section. In this case, you don’t need to manually adjust any share settings.
Additionally, you don’t need to connect the Google API. This part/scenario is for users who plan to have a large number of tables linked from Google Sheets.
If you encounter an error "Too many requests" (which happens if you reach the Google API call Quota limit), the solution is to remove the Google API connection and just use our 'standard Google sheet method'.
So, please update your plugin to our latest version and follow the steps in the guide.
If you’d like to set a custom update interval (to refresh table data from the Sheets) and improve loading performance for larger tables (around 2,000 to 5,000 rows), you can set up our Cache and Auto Update Cache feature.
Our Support will be here, so if anyone encounters any issues, please don't hesitate to create a ticket, and we will help.
Thank you.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
