We have some issues with event appointments and the fact that the Google Meet links are not visible in the backend. They are in the invite emails and calendar but if this is lost, we are not able to pull it from the backend.
Any idea to add it, similar to in services or events, so that it can be pulled from the backend.
It was very important, as we had now the situation in a event that the instructor was not able to find it and this created a lot of confusion.
Sorry to disappoint you, but, currently, the option to display the Google Meet in the events is not available.
I've already forwarded this to the developers, so they can add it in future updates. You can also suggest this feature on our feature suggestion page. Can't promise ETA at this moment, but you can follow the changelog to keep up with the updates.
Do I understand correctly that there is no way to find out which event I schedule with Google Meet on the backend?
What happens when the emails are lost?
This means the system is not usable, as we have now had several of these problems. Why did you not implement the same as you did in service? I don't understand it now. We will disable the event links asap, as this is creating massive issues, and we will activate our other solution for the time being.
Don't get me wrong. I love Amelia, but this is very critical for businesses with events where 50+ people sign up.
Please informa your developer, I am surprised that this is not flagged from more customers as it is very critical an in my case killed customer satifcation which is hard to win back when after that happens.
This is not a feature request for me - it is mandatory function missing. Without that nobody should schedule events with google meet as this is a setup for a disaster - sorry
Unfortunately, you are correct. Presently, there isn't an option to view the links in the Events backend. We fully recognize the significance of this functionality and have promptly relayed this information to our developers. In the past, there have been requests to incorporate visible links on the Appointments page, akin to Zoom functionality. Regrettably, this feature is currently absent for Events.
We understand the impact this limitation may have on your business operations. However, implementing changes at this juncture would prove challenging, at least until the next update. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
