Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

Change media library file upload view

    Hello,

Is it possible to change the file upload view to the media library?

When I want to upload a file from a table created with the attachment button, the image that we attached to the document appears as image 01, and it does not allow the file to be selected from a specific folder without the entire set of files in the library without any order.

However, on any Wordpress page a view of the media library appears like the one WordPress has by default, image 02.

The theme we use is Hello from Elementor, it looks like it applies the Elementor theme to the media library view.

    The button layout looks bad.

    Thank You.

    Hi Roberto,

Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

We have already covered this subject on the other ticket  https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com/ticket/3485324/,

but that is OK, we will also write here on a Public Ticket, for the other users to know if they need the same use-case.

What you have shown in your screenshots as the desired behaviour,

    3203728788.png

that is when an Administrator logs in and views the Media Library on the back-end.

For our Plugin, we are using the default WordPress function wp_upload_dir() for this functionality of our "Attachment" Editor Type

so we do not have any built-in way to change how uploading a file behaves from the front-end.

But, considering that for other options,

some Users and WP support have developed custom workarounds and they shared it online to change that,

if you wish, you can search online on WP Support in General and on places such as Stack Overflow to try and see if anyone has succeeded to modify the WordPress function wp_upload_dir(),

then you can try to make a custom solution.

    -

Or If you have coding skills or your developer, you can try your own custom solution.

You can check out our available hooks for Developers on this documentation and see if you can find any hook that might help.

Please be advised that custom solutions with hooks are not included in our support.

You can also research resources such as Stack Overflow to see if any other user perhaps found a workaround.

( We do like to give examples for certain solutions, but for this use-case, we, unfortunately, don't have anything yet)

    -

For a more user-friendly solution, you can make a development suggestion for us.

Please feel free to search on our suggestions page

to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there,  and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

    You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like ( it is also available in the plugin dashboard), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates;

and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

    Kind Regards,

    Miloš Jovanović
