    Hi


    We are a very busy salon - majority of our clients ring for appts

    When they ring we ask which service. any extras, which date they want so we can give them our availability before they book in, but your system wont allow us to pick an extra without the following criteria

    Select customer, employee and service


    Clients do not pick a technician with us, clients wants availability before they give us their details to book an appt, as the extras add time to the appt we have to fill out needless criteria before we can tell them our availability (like picked a random client from the list, picking the service, picking an employee that they havent requested before we can then click the extras to add the time on before we can then tell them our availability.


    Can this be looked into asap as the back end does not work for salons who take a large amount of business bookings over the phone or by walk in


    We need to be able to pick a category, service and extra so we can quote our availability before we take client details because if we do not have availability then they dont want to give us their details


    As extras are not linked to a client or a technician, and only linked to the service, why do we need to input this random data first?

    Now we have to go back, click our "fake client" that we have made, click a random employee before we can click the extra so it calculates the right time before we can give them our availability


    Can this be looked into asap on what we can do to resolve this asap?


    It makes training our new staff extremely difficult because no one can understand all the random steps they must take before they can say to the client " we have availability at 1pm for that service with that extra"

    Hello Francesca,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Unfortunately, this is not possible, as we mentioned in our previous reply, everything depends on the employee. This means that the working hours of the service and the working days of the service depend on the working hours of the employee, and these data must be filled in first in order to be able to find out the availability.

    What you are describing is booking from the front and the same workaround applies to this ticket as well. You can book from the incognito mode for your customers and set that employee choice is not mandatory and then immediately choose service and extras select day and time, etc. and at the end if they can give you their data.

    So that's the way our booking form works on the front end, and for you and your employees in that case, it's best to book from the front regularly, just like when the client makes a booking and that's it. This should hopefully solve any of your issues.

    Is there any way this will be changed in the future, I have added it in the suggestions page. if its available from the front end by making technician non mandatory, then can we not have the same option from the back end, it would make bookings for salons alot easier

    Booking front end doesnt work either as then it registers it as a green appt as booked on web rather than a blue appt for booked at the back end

    We checked and it seems your last two replies here are not for this ticket,

    where we discussed the subject about Employee selection not being mandatory as a workaround?

    Please check our reply there, and we can proceed further on that subject on that ticket.
