I have client notifications enabled on both package and service. However, the client is only getting the package purchase confirmation but not the service confirmation (with the appointment time). Any ideas where I can look to resolve this?
I also noticed that I'm not able to send any Employee emails, either on service/package booking or as Test emails. But the ones to customers works just fine. Both are enabled on the Notifications settings.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

Hi. The notifications have stopped again. Today we tested a customer booking an appointment. Only the package notification was received by customer and employee. No session confirmation was received by either party. Only the Google calendar invite. I then made a change to the package and we re-tested. This time no package email was received by either party, only Google calendar notifications. We also checked spam folders.
Purchase code has been entered and auto updates are enabled. We are on version 5.6. I just ran another test booking and no appointment confirmation emails are being received by the employee or the customer. Only package purchase confirmations (not the appointment booked at the same time).
The temp admin rights are still in place if you want to take a look.
Hi. Do you know why users only get confirmations if the appointment is booked as standalone? If they book packages (through the front end, on the Book page), only the package confirmation is sent to the employee, but not the customer, and neither the customer nor the employee get appointment confirmations when booked as part of a package (they can book minimum 1 and maximum 5 appointments at the same time as their package of 5). Offering packages is really important to us so we can't get by with Amelia not being able to confirm the appointment AND the package when both are booked at the same time.
Today I and another person tested 2 package purchases with the first appointment booked at the same time. In both cases the customer only received confirmation of package purchase.
Is there a way to check what Amelia is doing behind the scenes that is producing this difference in experiences?
Can you please check SPAM I am not sure what settings the "pro.turbo-smtp.com" SMTP host has and I cannot tell if the emails would not go into the SPAM folder.
Do you have any Gmail accounts that you can use for the notifications setup?
If you do, you can configure it as we can confirm that the notifications work fine if set up that way.
SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) – In this article, we show how to configure the SMTP mail service for Gmail, but you can set it up for any other outgoing service that supports SMTP for a mail client. When you select this option, four inputs will appear – you need to populate them to configure SMTP properly. A Google SMTP example:
SMTP Host – smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Port – 587
SMTP Secure – TLS
SMTP Username – Your Gmail address
SMTP Password – Your App password (details about setting up an app password can be found in the yellow notice section below)
The most commonly used SMTP Ports are 465 and 587. Port 465 uses “SSL” as SMTP Secure, while port 587 uses “TLS” as SMTP Secure. Make sure to check what the correct SMTP settings are for your mailing provider.
Google SMTP (Gmail accounts):
From 30 May 2022, Google will no longer support the use of third-party apps or devices which ask you to sign in to your Google Account using only your username and password, so “Allow less secure apps” will be removed.
In order to continue using SMTP with Gmail, you will need to set up an App Password for Amelia. App Passwords can only be used with accounts that have 2-Step Verification turned on. Instructions about this can be found on Google’s Documentation, here.

CORRECTION: Only the employee got notification of cancellation and rejection. The customer got nothing.
