    Hello, i'm trying to configure the emails notifications, for example a new appointment or new purchased service.

    I've configured the Amelia email configurations and i have all the emails text charged on the configuration

    I also set a plugin to see if that was the problem WP Mail SMTP, but is the same problem, sometimes with the administrator user the emails arrive but not with my customers emails.

    I'm using an external SMTP server with my email provider www.neubox.com


    I'm attaching images for all the configurations, hope you can help me with this

    I'm just trying to configure the email notifications, and the platform doesn't send any email.

    i sent the configuration screenshots on the past post, please tell me if you need anymore information

    Hello Arturo,

    An issue with email notifications could be caused by several reasons:

    1. Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings.
    2. Your website has a PHP version of less than 7.
    3. The credentials are not correct.
    4. There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent.
    5. If you're using Gmail, please check out this article for detailed setup instructions.
    6. The most commonly used SMTP Ports are 465 and 587. Port 465 uses “SSL” as SMTP Secure, while port 587 uses “TLS” as SMTP Secure. Make sure to check what the correct SMTP settings are for your mailing provider.

    SMTP Host – smtp.gmail.com

    1. SMTP Port – 587
    2. SMTP Secure – TLS
    3. SMTP Username – Your Gmail address
    4. SMTP Password – Your App password (details about setting up an app password can be found in the yellow notice section below)

    Important: Google SMTP (Gmail accounts):

    From 30 May 2022, Google will no longer support the use of third-party apps or devices which ask you to sign in to your Google Account using only your username and password, so “Allow less secure apps” will be removed.

    In order to continue using SMTP with Gmail, you will need to set up an App Password for Amelia. App Passwords can only be used with accounts that have 2-Step Verification turned on. Instructions about this can be found on Google’s Documentation, here.

    Microsoft SMTP (outlook, hotmail, live, and office365 email accounts):

    If you’re having issues using SMTP with your Microsoft account, please make sure to set up an App Password for Amelia. App Passwords can only be used with accounts that have 2-Step Verification turned on in the Security Basics section of your Microsoft account. Instructions about this can be found on Microsoft’s Documentation, here.

    Please check these points, and let me know if you were able to resolve the issue. If you're still not able to resolve the issue, we'll need to remote into your website, and see what's going on.
