Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

We had a bug with Elementor in previous versions - but our devs made a fix in the latest version.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
My colleague Uros responded to the other ticket > it seems you might have a conflict on site between "Asset CleanUp: Page Speed Booster" plugin and Amelia that is causing that issue.
2.
Regarding placeholders in notifications, this example screenshot you sent me is a notification as "Package purchased" template; but on the second screenshot you showed me the template for "Appointment approved".
This is how your Package Purchased notification template looks :
- If you wish to add the same placeholders, you can simply edit this template, and it should work.
Let me know if you have any questions regarding that > and for the other issue on that ticket, we will proceed on that ticket > it is not related to the notifications/placeholders, i am sure.
Thank you, I did forget to add placeholders for that one. When I schedule a single service on the back end it sends that same email even though I added a bunch of placeholders. Is there another package notification ?
Actually, that was my mistake - i didn't see it right away. This is a custom notification you made, you called it "recurring appointment - and it will only trigger for these services :
I noticed that you are currently using PHP Mail, which is not recommended, since it can be very slow - and sometimes can end up in customer's spam folder
When i did a test booking, using the same service from the screenshot, 30 minute service - i got this email, with a warning :
This is something coming from your PHP Mail provider, i am not sure, to be honest, but it is not an issue from Amelia, in any case.
-
What i did then is , i briefly changed your Mail Provider in Amelia to SMTP > and i tested my Email credentials - then everything worked without issues - Now, this recurring appointments placeholder;
is only going to trigger if we schedule more than one appointment/ as recurring.
-
Now , when i book one initial appointment, and additional as recurring > i have almost all placeholders working ( and i edited the placeholder in Notifications a bit, added "start and end times" placeholders > since i was not sure why they were not working at first > now i will change that back the way it was) :
The only one that's not working right now is this "employee note" placeholder.
The note that i can set, as a customer booking > is the "customer note" > so if i placed that placeholder - it would go through > but since the employee assigned didn't leave any note for the customer > it is now blank.
-
I hope that this helps to clarify everything. I will now delete my SMTP credentials from your Amelia - but i will suggest if you can try maybe changing from PHP Mail provider, to any other.
Ok. I see what happened. I selected the notification for that appointment. Even though I only scheduled one appointment, it sent the notification for recurring appointments. I will try changing it to SMTP as well. Thank you for that feedback.
Regarding the other issue that Roxane reported, with the Elementor; it seems that for this site the issue is a conflict between Amelia and "Asset CleanUp: Page Speed Booster" plugin.
But for your site it might be a completely different issue.
My colleague Marko is covering your ticket regarding that - on this ticket we have moved on to handle this issue with the notifications for Roxane, so we will proceed to cover that here.
-
Roxane, as you saw - when i tried my SMTP credentials on your site , then the notifications worked perfectly - so i will guess the issue must be coming with some kind of wrong configuration for SMTP from your end.
I will write another private response for you - since i just spotted something odd, i will show you a screenshot from your SMTP settings which i think you should change/fix.
Firstly, my sincere apologies for the waiting time.
1. I am happy to see that we solved the Email setup, that is awesome!
2.
Yes, i can see what you mean, it can be confusing when we combine all of this for the first time.
-
Basically, for the Package purchase, there is a specific notification template > this gets triggered, any time when a customer buys a package.
You can customize what this will contain > you can add the Appointment Details as part of it;
and then if customers add any bookings/appointments while they buy the backage ( in one go),
you can add this useful placeholder as part of "Package Purchased" notification template,
it's called %package_appointments_details%
You can configure which appointment details from the Package they will get, if they book some of the Package's available appointments right away.
-
But if they come back later, ( if you enable Customer Panel), they can log in their Customer Panel to book more remaining appointments from the Package - then you will get a standard Appointment notification.
-
2.
Regarding recurring appointment notifications - this is different than Packages.
You can add recurring details to a regular "Appointment approved" notification template.
-
In order to send the list of recurring appointments in your notifications, you need to copy and paste the %recurring_appointments_details% placeholder to the notifications.
Once you do that go to the Settings page, open Appointments Settings, and you will see the option “Recurring placeholders”.
By default in this field, you will have just %appointment_date_time% placeholder which means that the list of recurring appointments will be sent just with the date and time of each appointment.
If you want some additional data to be sent in the list, all you need to do is to copy the placeholders from the notification page here and the list of recurring appointments will be sent with those data.
Elementor doesn't load when Amelia is activated. Elementor forwarded us the Javascript errors:

To be honest, we didn't do anything from our end - I am certainly delighted to see that the issue seems to be gone.
Of course - we will be here, if you notice anything else that seems odd, don't hesitate to reach out , and we will help as quick as possible.

I have another issue here, I hope to get help as soon as possible as we are not able to use Amelia on the front end :(
https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com/ticket/3114100/
Apparently, Amelia works fine when we use WP editor but as soon as we turn it back to Elementor the shortcodes don't show Amelia.
I'm not sure if this is related but our placeholders are not working in notifications either...

I'm having the same problem with Elementor and Amelia. For me though, the issue only happens when I try to use the Step-by-step booking form 2.0
Ok. I see what happened. I selected the notification for that appointment. Even though I only scheduled one appointment, it sent the notification for recurring appointments. I will try changing it to SMTP as well. Thank you for that feedback.
After the change to SMTP I am not receiving any notifications as a client or employee..
