My website client has her emails in Gsuite. They no longer support smtp access unless supported through their OAuth authentification. So this means the notification emails from Amelia are not working either to the client or the customer.
I have set up smtp using WP MAil STMTP plugin who have coded the correct authentification into the plugin so we have got the site emails configured, but the amelia ones don't work.
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
I was only asking for your credentials, in order to test if the issue on this site might be due to Email credentials issue, or PhPMailer error, or anything else blocking the site from sending SMTP;
but it is not a problem if you don't wish to allow me access, we don't have to do that.

Regarding our plugin in sync with Google's new higher security authentication ( May 2022),
i can assure you our plugin has already been updated for it a long time ago.
You can check that in this article we made about it - along with the steps on how to set up the credentials for SMTP with Gmail and Amelia settings in the Notification settings.
But this article is if you use the SMTP client directly through Amelia;
and you mentioned that you use WP MAil STMTP Plugin, right?
In that case, in Amelia we have to set WP Mail.
-
So i will advise to firstly perform an Email Test from the WP Mail STMP Plugin - if the test is successful, and you receive the email;
Then in Amelia settings / Notification settings / Set up WP Mail as the provider;
and try to send yourself a Test Email to make sure it works.
Please check instructions how to set WP Mail in Amelia on this page.

If you already did all of this, and you can't find the issue, we would need access to WP-Admin to perform tests in order to find the root of the issue.

Hi
There is no mystery here and no need to check my installation (in any case my client has decided not to use Amelia for this problem).
You just need to update the SMTP part of the plugin so that it can sync with Google's new higher security authentication (bought in May 2022).
See this article https://wpmailsmtp.com/gmail-less-secure-apps/
