Amelia inherits the language from WordPress' General Settings, if that language exists in ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/ folder.
Belgium Dutch is currently 79% translated, so most of the plugin should be in Dutch. The strings that aren't translated, though, will appear in English.
The plugin can be translated using POEDIT or Loco Translate easily. I suggest installing Loco Translate since it's within WordPress and it has a simple UI.
If you want to use POEDIT then please follow these instructions:
1. Download Amelia from our TMS Store and save the ameliabooking.zip file on your computer.
4. After that, open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/en_US/wpamelia-en_US.po.
5. Translate all the strings in your language.
6. Save the file as the plugin suggests (the language code; for example wpamelia-id_ID.po if your language is Indonesian) and it will generate a new wpamelia-id_ID.mo file. You can find your language code here.
7. Go to ameliabooking/languages/ folder and create a new folder. Name it as the language code for your language (in our case, for Indonesian, it is id_ID) and then copy these two files called wpamelia-id_ID.po and wpamelia-id_ID.mo into it. Proceed with copying the whole folder id_ID back to your website in folder ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/.
Of course, you will use language code for your language (we use the Indonesian language, and its language code "id_ID" is just an example).
When you finish that, it would be nice to send us the translation, so we can include it in our next major update so you don't have to copy this folder from the local machine on every update.
I changed it to /ameliabooking/languages/nl_BE/wpamelia-nl_BE.po and now everything seems fine. Make sure to backup this file, as there's a chance that it will be overwritten with the next update. Would you be able to send me the translation (zipped, both .po and .mo files), so we can include it in our next update?
We seem to have the same problem (see ticket PUBLIC TICKET #2774350).
After four weeks, it still doesnt work. Is it possible that we have the same problem? A difference is that we don't have any Dutch at all (we dit the translation with poededit etc).
The issue on their end was with the usage of Dutch Formal instead of Dutch. Maybe it's the same issue on your website.
As for the ICS file, it's being sent normally, please check if you enabled this option in Amelia's General settings. If it's still not working, please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
I can see that there are some strings that are not translated, like "Employee", "Service info", "Spots", etc. but that's because:
1. You enabled "Labels" settings that overwrite the language file for "Employee" and "Service" labels (I turned that off, and the issue with "Employee" and "Service" has been resolved);
2. the Belgium Dutch translation is only 75% complete. We do not have translators in our company, so we rely on our customers to send us translations for their languages. You can install Loco Translate, and modify the strings that aren't translated. If you do this, it'd be great if you could send us the translated file, so we can include it in our next update.
Issues like this usually occur when there is a conflict either with the theme currently active on your website, or another plugin you have installed.
Can you please change the theme and see if the issue is resolved? If not, then please deactivate all other plugins except for our plugin, refresh the page where the issue is, and see if it is resolved (it should be). If it is, then start activating other plugins one by one, and after each activation refresh the page to see if the issue reoccurred. Once it does reoccur, you will have found the plugin causing the issue.
We cannot replicate the issue on our staging, demo, local or test websites, so the plugin is working correctly. Something on your end is causing it not to work, and without excluding plugins (or the theme) one by one, we can't say exactly what that something is.
You can play around with our demo website, and you'll see that the ICS file is being sent without issues.

Hi again leander
The path in Loco Translate was wrong:
I changed it to /ameliabooking/languages/nl_BE/wpamelia-nl_BE.po and now everything seems fine. Make sure to backup this file, as there's a chance that it will be overwritten with the next update. Hi René,
thank you for the kind reply 🙂 I apologize for the later response as we don't work on weekends.
I'd just like to let you know that Aleksandar is out of office today, however, he will return tomorrow and continue to troubleshoot this with you.
Hey René.
I'll check out that other ticket right away.

Hello Leander.

Nothing is changes from our end, it worked before and stopped now so i guess is a plugin issue from amelia.
