When you create a tables from the first option that tables are non server side, and unfortunately there is an issue with that which we will try to solve and include the fix for the future updates.

Filtering doesn't work when trying to use any kind of filter box (like a checkbox) to filter for a string that contains parentheses.

Yes it looks like there is an issue with filtering with non server side tables still, for server side tables it is working as I can see.
Can you please tell me did you try to make a table from this file from the third option in the table wizard.

The third option (server side) works, but I want the first option to work.
Anyway, I can avoid using parentheses for now, so it's not a huge problem.
