We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
2 questions:
1. I would like to offer frontend users the excellike editor, datasource is MySQL, I guess the fifth row here
http://wpdatatables.com/documentation/table-features/standard-wpdatatables-vs-excel-like-tables/
implies that this should be possible, however I can't see any configurable options showing me the right direction.
2. For the time being we help ourself with inline editing. Best practice is double clicking a cell. However this only works for cells that already contain data. Empty cells aren't doubleclickable. Can I fix this one way or another?
Thanks in advance!
Hi mgvdb,
Thank you for your purchase.
1. About excel like tables for front end.
When you are editing your page click on the icon from the attachment 1.
After that select table that you want ( table ID) and select excel like table (attachment 2).
2. Thank you for reporting this issue about empty cells. We will need to investigate it and give it back to you.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Thank you so much. The nonclickable cells occur when value is NULL, so when it's just empty it works. Try to solve it on the MySQL-end now, but looking forward to a solution!
