Hello, I am using WP DataTables to generate a mysql table. Is it possible to use Report Builder with the output of mysql this table to export an Excel file? I am having trouble getting any values to show up in my export.
Yes, I have Report Builder, and I built a new report with "Follow Table Filtering" checked. But the preview doesn't show anything (which is probably not unusual because the dataTable is dynamic) and the short code that I put on the page with the table produces a blank file, too.
Can you please send me a temp WP-Admin login and password (you can send it here - just please mark the reply as Private so noone except myself would see it) - so I would take a look and check why does this happen.
I've checked your report. The reason of blank report was that the template was empty. You need to configure/prepare the template so that Report Buidler would 'understand' where to insert column data. You can read full info here:
Thanks Alexander! This makes sense now. I have everything set up okay, but I am experiencing a strange issue if there is a "0" value put in a field. It seems to be pulling a variable instead of the zero. You can see it here in column L (No. of Children).

So now your download report button does export the rows.
