Can you please guide how to hide some columns for some user types e.g. Column XYZ can be viewed only by a 'Contributor', not by 'Subscriber'.

This could not be done with built in tools. It requires code customization or writing a function that will extend plugin functionalities through actions and filters.
If you are unfamiliar with writing a code we can offer you to hire one of our developers to do it for you as paid customization service.
