    Hi there

I am a complete novice to wordpress and its functionality. However I am capable of learning quite quickly admin panel use to construct a dynamic website.

I purchased a job board template. This allowed for an employer to post a job for a fee. The job then is viewed by prospective employees who submit bids (proposals) or apply.

I did not want the employee or employer to be able to contact each other direct other than submitting a bid or applying as I wished to be the arbitrator in the middle.

The site does not allow for this and hence I purchased your wpdatatables so I could manipulate the data.

I set up simple tables allowing for me to view applicants and their details and bids etc...

Also simple tables to view job postings and the employers submitting them.

I can say without a shadow of a doubt that wpdatatables is the greatest plugin I have ever come accross as I wanted to create the site without any coding knowledge whatsoever or database knowledge for that matter.

I set myself a challenge that I would do it as a complete novice.

    HOWEVER - This is the part I am stuck on;

I cannot find the form field (data entry) for a job to be accepted that in turn will return a positive search back in the members profile page under "jobs you have been accepted for"

If I could have this displayed in a wpdatatable created editable table I would just enter the correct variable ie. accepted - true etc and this would then trigger the display page to display the "jobs accepted"

This is the final part that would complete my site without me having to ever code - have any knowledge of coding and just got it created by using wpdatatables in effect my admin data panel.

Its like a complete novice creating a complete data driven site just by using wpdatatable plugin

If you could advise me I am sure I can champion your plugin

    Hi brigd_wood,
Thank you for your purchase and your kind words.

I am not sure that I quite understand what are you trying to achieve. Can you please describe me more and give me some details like who can be able to do what, etc.? Also if you have some screenshots or example it would help.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi brigs_wood,

We still have difficulties to understand what are you trying to achieve.
Maybe we will understand better if we can see that table.

So can you please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Hi brigs_wood,

Sorry, we would be happy to help but unfortunately we really cannot understand what exactly you want help with.
If we understood right you would like to display a table in the My Accepted Jobs / Contracts block. This block seems to be doing a search query to WordPress, and is dynamically generated, so we think there’s no easy way of adding a table there, it would require some custom coding.
Also we’re unfamiliar with the plugin which you use for the job listings, so unfortunately we cannot tell much about how to fetch the data you need, and really this isn’t something that is covered by included support, and falls under customization services.
What we would kindly suggest you is to hire a freelance developer which could finish the job for you, it should be much easier and not too expensive.

    Sorry if we couldn’t help,
    regards.
