Hi Amelia Support,
I'm running the latest version of Amelia Pro (v6.8.1) on my site hosted with Rocket.net. My WordPress admin user (erinreyeadmin) is not appearing in the Amelia → Employees “WordPress User” dropdown, even though:
The user has the roles Administrator and Amelia Employee
An internal provider record for that user exists in wp_amelia_users (ID = 1, email = [email protected])
The externalId is correctly set to the WP user ID (1)
However, no ameliaUserId record was ever created in the wp_usermeta table for this user, so Amelia does not recognize or link the WP user to the internal employee.
This breaks:
Employee linking
Working hours visibility
Time format settings
Any front-end booking connection
I have already reinstalled the plugin, cleared all caches (including CDN and object cache), and verified DB integrity. This appears to be a failure of the plugin to auto-register the admin user on install, or a user sync issue at the DB level.
Please confirm:
Why this sync failed
Whether I am safe to manually insert the missing ameliaUserId into wp_usermeta to resolve the issue
If there is a supported patch or updated sync method for cases like this
P.S. Regardless of my WordPress settings, Amelia is displaying time in 24-hour format (military time). My WP time format is set to g:i a, and I’ve double-checked Amelia's Customize panel and plugin settings. This appears to be hardcoded or ignored by Amelia. Please advise how to force 12-hour AM/PM formatting in the front-end booking calendar and employee schedule view.
Thanks,
Erin

Hi Erin,
Thanks for reaching out to us. Please note that a single WordPress user should not have multiple roles assigned. Specifically, the user cannot have both the Administrator and Amelia Employee roles at the same time, as each role comes with its own set of permissions and expected behavior.
To link a WordPress user to an employee in Amelia, the user must have only the Amelia Employee role assigned. The same applies to customer roles as well.
If you remove the other user role, you should be able to assign it to the WordPress user.
Let me know if it works.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
