Hi, with Amelia 8.3 the plug-in does not show the booking forms, customer and employee panels in frontend anymore. With 8.2.1 it works fine. Every customer website we are upgrading is facing this issue.
Error in console:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'wpAmeliaPluginAjaxURL')
at stepForm.1d1d0be5.js:9:10860
Please provide us with the install file of Amelia 8.3 asap. At the moment customers cannot use Amelia on the affected websites.
Disabling WP Rocket, Solid Security or trying on Gutenberg instead of Elementor did not change anything.
Thanks,
Steffi
Additional hints: all affected sites have Elementor and WP Rocket installed. Disabling WP Rocket did not fix the issue. Adding the booking dialog to a non-Elementor page did not fix the issue. These websites have Wordfence or Solid Security installed. Themes are different (Astra, Generate Press, some themes from Envato).
We don't have any issues with 8.3 on two websites: They don't use Elementor and WP Rocket, but Gutenberg/Spectra and Astra theme. Both have Wordfence installed.
Hi Steffi,
Thanks for reaching out to us, and apologies for the delayed response.
You’ve probably already been informed, but we’ve released the Amelia 8.3.1 update, which includes the popup fix. Unfortunately, version 8.3 introduced a few issues, but they have been resolved in this latest update.
Looking at your website - https://meisterschmiede-nachhilfe.de/kurs-buchen/, i can see that all booking forms are visible on the front end. Is this the same case on your end?
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Hi Stefan,
I rolled back to 8.2.1 yesterday on the affected page in order to reestablish the booking possibility again. I tried 8.3.1 on this website now and it's still showing the same error in the console. The booking forms, employee and customer panels are not loading.
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'wpAmeliaPluginAjaxURL') at stepForm.1d1d0be5.js:9:10860
I reverted back to 8.2.1 now.
Best regards
Steffi
Hi Steffi,
Thanks for the information, i understand that you reverted back to Amelia 8.2.1 as that is the best option. However, is there a chance to provide a staging site with Amelia 8.3.1 so we can have a better overview of the issue?
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
