We have noticed an issue with the Amelia plugin: after a user’s service package has expired, the system still allows bookings to be made for dates beyond the package expiration. This causes users to continue using the service beyond the valid period of their package, which affects package management and sales.
Please help to verify if there is a problem with the package expiration validation and advise on how to properly configure or fix this feature to ensure that bookings cannot be made after the package has expired.
Looking forward to your response. Thank you!

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
The duration you set is for the package while the appointments within a package are defined by the "Period available for booking" in Amelia's General Settings or individual settings of a service. So, if you sell a package with 10 appointments, and set the duration of the package to be 1 year, your customers will have 1 year to book those 10 appointments.
However, the appointments within a package can be booked as far ahead as you configured the "Period available for booking in advance" in Amelia's General Settings, or individual service setting. For example, if this is set to 30 days, at the time when an appointment is being booked, the customers will be able to choose the dates 30 days from TODAY. Defining the duration of the package doesn't define the availability of appointments.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

Good day
Sorry about that I missed out some attachment.
Our package was set the duration as 2 months, and inside the General setting, "Period available for booking in advance" we also set as 2 months. But when come to customer side, they still can book their appointment slot after 2 month. Any method to let customer only can book on the valid time..?

Hello,
As I explained in my previous response, the package duration sets the total length of time the package is valid, but it does not limit how far in advance appointments can be booked.
The actual limit for how far ahead customers can book appointments is controlled by the "Period available for booking in advance" setting in Amelia’s General Settings or the individual service settings.
So even if the package duration is 2 months, if the booking period is set longer, customers will still be able to book beyond those 2 months.
If you want to restrict bookings strictly within the package duration, you would need to adjust the "Period available for booking in advance" accordingly.
Let me know if you need any further clarification!
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

Hello,
Ok, but the issue is when the package I sets 2 months, and inside the "Period available for booking in advance" in General setting, we also sets as 2 months, but when customer purchase the package, they still able to book the date beyond the 2 months. It doesn't make sense. Probably they can only book the date within the 2 month after they purchase 2 package right ?
Hello,
Thank you for your message.
To control the booking period for services included in a package, you should set the "Period available for booking in advance" on the specific service’s settings page in Amelia > Services > Settings. This setting will limit how far ahead customers can book those particular services, even if they purchase a package.
Let me know if you need any further help with this!

Hi Team
Here's the situation:
I’ve set the “Booking in Advance” period to 60 days in both:
1. Each individual service within the package
2. The global setting under Amelia > Settings > General
However, customers are still able to book appointments beyond the 60-day limit when selecting a service through the package.
This seems to indicate that the “Booking in Advance” restriction is not being properly applied when the service is part of a package
Could you please help me verify whether there’s any known issue or workaround for this behavior?
Thanks for your assistance!
Best regards
Hello,
Thank you for the update on this.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
