We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
I integrated Amelia Calendar with my Google Calendar.
It would be very very very helpful for me that the appointment that a client of mine set with the Amelia Calendar will be inserted automatically in the google calendar using the same colour the Service in Amelia has. Infact for each service I created in Amelia I gave it a different colour, and it would be great if the service's colour will appear also in my google calendar. This will also help me to see straight away in my Google Calendar if the appointment is one of my work one or is my private.
At the moment since my private appontment in google calendar are blue, "unfortunately" any amelia appointment appears blue too, and this is very misleading for me.
Any suggestion? Thank you very much in advance.
Hi Marcello,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately, I have to disappoint you on this one — at the moment, we have limited options when it comes to customizing Google Calendar. While some colors related to Amelia can be modified through the Customization settings or with CSS, customization options for Google Calendar itself are currently very limited.
In the meantime, we recommend submitting this as a feature request on our feature suggestion page. We may be able to find a workaround or implement a solution in the future.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Hi Stefan,
Thanks for the replay. I've just realized that when an appointment is taken using Amelia, in the Google calendar appear the Title of the Service, The start and ending time, The address where the service is taken but doesn't appear the name of the client. I put it in the google integration into the Description Field. I would like to remove the address (it is going to be always my office therefore is pointless to have it) and show the Description Field instead or at least the fullname of the client who has taken the appointment. How can I do this?
Moreover could you please also give me the link of your suggestion page?
Thank you in advance
Hi Marcello,
Apologies, somehow i missed adding the feature suggestion page link. Here is the link - https://wpamelia.nolt.io/new-post
All information that goes to Google Calendar comes from the Event Title and Description. Make sure to edit the placeholders according to the information that you want to display. For example, you can use customer full name to display the fullname of the client

Hi Stefan,
I did exactly as you wrote me but as you can see from the attached file the description (with name and surname) does not appear

Hi Marcello,
But have you added the placeholder like from the screenshot? It should be added like %customer_full_name%. From the screenshot, it looks different (or I'm mistaken)

Hi Stefan
Yes I used the placeholder correctly, see the attachment. I put the cusomer ful name in the title and in the description hoping that somewhere in the google calendar would appear, but unfortunately, as you can see from the previous attachment, I can see these data only if I double click on the appointment and not in the weekly view of the google calendar...

Hi Marcello,
Unfortunately, that is the default behavior of Google Calendar. All information from the placeholder is only visible when you click on the specific appointment. Unfortunately, we don’t have control over this, so we can’t change the view at the moment.

Hi Stefan,
ok thank you, I understand. I do hope that you can at least implement asap the "different Service Colour" transfer as I wrote in your suggestion page.
Thanks
