I register an employee that has a profile on my site. Roles are set as Amelia employee and also Amelia customer as this person already booked stuff.
When creating this employee it complains that mail is already in use!
Why does it not match this logic to that user and import his already setup info? How do I fix this so that this employee is that profile?
Hello,
Unfortunately, it's not possible to assign multiple user roles to the same WordPress user, nor can the same email address be used for multiple roles. Amelia automatically creates a customer user account after a booking, which means the email address is already stored in the system.
To avoid conflicts, please ensure that each employee—and each user in general—has a unique email address.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Are you planning a redesign? I understand the design is based on users not wanting people to register, hence, you designed a Wordpress within Wordpress with it's own rolemanagement. I would say going with Wordpress structure that in it self has the possibility to restrict userregistration would have been correct way vs. this addition of endless emails for any capacity.
Anyways, does this conflict also involve Am Managers. So a Manager canot be a customer? A Manager cannot be an employee?
What about an employee/manager making a booking. Will they then not become a customer?
The main issue I am tryig to highlight is that running a multisite I have 8 emails in action with various capabilities. I can recieve 5 pop of those in my main mail, Everything beyond is a liability. So just getting another email is for some a major issue. I seincerely hope this is addressed and IMO should be managed as a bug. I trust every single install runs into this issue....
Hi,
This issue isn’t directly related to Amelia itself. Our user roles are based on WordPress user roles, and unfortunately, they cannot be combined, as each role comes with its own set of permissions.
For example, an Administrator has full access to all settings and options, while an Amelia Manager has similar—but not identical—permissions. Combining these roles could cause conflicts, especially since you wouldn’t want to grant administrative access to a customer, or vice versa.
Unfortunately, there’s little we can do to change this behavior. Our recommendation is to avoid assigning multiple user roles to the same account to prevent conflicts.

I'm sorry Stefan, this makes no sence. There is double roles all over the place: Editor vs. Shop Manager etc. Wordpress grants useraccess across roles no problem. Is it allowed for one role and not for another, wordpress grats access. No conflict.
From members plugin > Roles i can customise Amelia access further for fine tune, which then becomes sort of pointless as no user can have 2 roles within the same plugin.... Just saying, this is a nusence to a lot of people and it's an old issue https://wordpress.org/support/topic/not-great-with-authentication/
Hello,
We’ve received similar requests from a few users regarding user role permissions, but we won’t be changing this option. As mentioned previously, this limitation is also related to WordPress—Amelia does not support assigning multiple user roles to the same WordPress user.
Additionally, these user roles have different permissions, and Amelia will not function properly in such cases. If you need to assign multiple roles (e.g., admin and customer), we strongly recommend creating two separate WordPress user accounts.
