Hi Amelia
I have intervals of 30 min for events.
Services are primarily booking of rooms per day. How can I allow just selection of dates. 1 or multiple?
Also how can I make weekends 3 day obligatory from friday to sunday? While monday to thursday can be selected for single day or maybe multiple?
Note I am switching to Catalog booking 2.0 tomorrow, if that has an effect....
Thx
Henrik
Hi Henrik,
Thanks for reaching out to us. There is a difference between events and services. When creating events, you need to specify the dates in advance, an event would have the pre defied date and time in this case where customers can book only a place for specific events. There are a couple of events options, recurring or multi day. I recommend checking out this article for more information - Recurring VS multi-day events
Services can be configured to offer multiple timeslots to customers, however, a customer can only book a single timeslot per booking. This is how Amelia works by default. This depends on the employee work hours configuration and service duration. Unfortunatelly, there is no option to configure multi day booking, since the maximum service duration is 24 hours.
I hope it helps.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Hi Stefan
I think you misunderstood. I am not creating recurring events. Events are not feasible for renting out a room.
Service:
I am creating a booking/service of a room. This booking should for weekends last friday to sunday always. As mentioned global intervals are 30 mins. Now I need a booking to reserve/block friday to sunday. I have played 00:00 to 24:00 (24 hours) and then the same buffer before and after, hence, a total of t2 hours. Is this a correct way?
Also I am adding cleaning as an extra and i set this duration to 4 hours. Will these hours extend the 72 hours and then block the following monday or are they inclusive within the 72 hour range?
Thx
Hello,
Unfortunatelly, there is no such option to configure multi day booking (Friday to sunday for example). The maximum service duration is 24 hours, therefore, you can only configure the service to show timeslots within the 24 hours. If you wish to configure the timeslots from Friday to sunday, you would need to configure the work hours for an employee for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, however, this would be listed for each day separately.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
