We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Hello Mattias,
Thank you for reaching out.
The error you're seeing —
PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10): Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature —
typically occurs when WordPress encounters a problem while downloading or extracting the plugin package. This can be caused by:
A corrupted or incomplete download
Temporary issues with your server’s file system or permissions
A conflict with another plugin or outdated component in your setup
The good news is that you can safely update the plugin manually, and your tables/data will not be lost — all plugin settings and tables are stored in your database.
✅ Manual Update via WordPress Admin:-
-
-
-
🔁 Alternative Method: Manual Update via FTPLog in to your TMS Store account and download the latest plugin ZIP file:
In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Installed Plugins, and deactivate wpDataTables.
Click Delete to remove the plugin.
⚠️ Don’t worry — this will not remove your tables or data.
Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload the ZIP file you downloaded, and activate it.
If you encounter an error when uploading the plugin through the WP admin area, follow these steps:
Unzip the plugin ZIP file on your computer.
Connect to your website via FTP (you can use a client like FileZilla).
Navigate to this directory:
wp-content/plugins/
Locate the existing wpdatatables folder and delete it.
Upload the new unzipped wpdatatables folder to the same location.
Once the upload is complete, go back to your WP admin and ensure the plugin is activated.
Let me know if you need help with any of these steps or would like us to assist via remote access. We’ll be happy to help.
Kind regards,
Milos

Hello again Mattias,
Sorry, I just forgot to add one more important point.
Can you please check if the Zip PHP extension is installed and active on your Hosting Server?
I will do my best to clarify what it is.
PHP modules/extensions are libraries that enable specific functions or tasks to be used in your PHP code on your WordPress.
So if you can please first check with your Hosting Support to make sure that you have the PHP Zip Extension enabled on both your 'old WordPress Site' server and the "new Wordpress Site' server where you are moving the data.
- In order to fix this, you need to ensure that the PHP Zip Extension on your server.
How to enable PHP Zip Extension in Cpanel : 1. Log in to your Cpanel 2. Go to the Software section and click on Select PHP Version 3. Make sure the 'zip' is checked and click save -
So if you can double-check with your Hosting, if the ZIP Extension was perhaps not active - that would explain the error.
Let me know if that helped.
If not - you can follow the manual steps to download and install the latest Plugin version as per my previous reply.
Thanks again.
Kind Regards,
