Hello Amelia Support,
I’m experiencing a persistent issue in the admin panel. I cannot edit or delete test appointments created during the trial phase. When I click “Edit,” nothing happens — no window opens, and there is no error message. I have already tried:
Reinstalling the Amelia plugin
Clearing all cache
Disabling all other plugins
Switching themes
Checking for JavaScript errors in the browser console
Unfortunately, the issue remains.
I’m currently using WordPress.com Business plan, and I purchased Amelia through your official website. I would appreciate it if your team could:
Fix the issue with the inability to edit/delete appointments in the admin panel.
Delete all test records currently in the calendar.
Confirm that existing services and packages will not be affected by this fix.
Please let me know if you need login credentials or any other information to access my site and help with this issue.
Thank you very much for your help!
Best regards,
Maria Shakhova / https://shahov.school/

Hi Maria,
I hope you're doing well.
The issue is most likely related to a user role conflict. Your WordPress user may have multiple roles assigned—such as Administrator and Employee, or Customer, etc.
This setup isn't supported and can cause conflicts, so please ensure that your WordPress user has only a single role assigned (Administrator, in this case). You can check this in the User Role section of the user profile.
Please let me know if that resolves the issue once you’ve had a chance to check.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Hi Stefan! Unfortunately that didn't work either. Deleting the Amelia user and assigning other options to it did not work.
Is there any other way to solve this problem?

Hi Maria,
The other option is to provide the WP admin credentials and i will log in to take a better look.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

Hi Mariia,
Thanks, but for some reason, i'm not able to get past the JetPack log in window. Is there a chance to disable it temporarily? Meanwhile, you can also check the user role conflict in User Role section in Wordpress, this is what i was referring to.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Hi Stefan ,
I’ve disabled the Jetpack plugin using the Code Snippets method, as it couldn’t be deactivated through the regular WordPress interface.
I’ve also reviewed the user roles and confirmed there are no conflicts or restrictions preventing plugin access.
Please take another look and let me know if you’re able to proceed now. I would appreciate it if you could help resolve the issue as soon as possible — I’ve been unable to use the plugin properly since the beginning.
Thank you in advance!
Best regards

Hi Stefan , I want to sincerely thank you for resolving the issue — I’m very relieved that everything is working again, and I truly appreciate your help and responsiveness.
That said, I’d like to better understand what caused the problem and how I can avoid this situation in the future. Since the Amelia plugin is a critical part of my business — especially with calendar management and payments — having the system down for nearly a week was quite stressful and could have resulted in lost revenue and trust from my clients.
Could you please let me know:
What specifically caused the issue?
Is there anything I should or should not do going forward to prevent this?
Is this type of issue common, or was this an isolated case?
I want to continue using Amelia confidently, but I need reassurance that this won’t become a recurring risk for my school.
Thank you again for your support and I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Maria
Hi Mariia,
You're very welcome. We noticed there were some pending payments dated 28.04 in the wp_amelia_payments table. We’ve managed the issue on our end, and the edit option is now available again.
However, we're not entirely certain how or why this occurred. While I doubt it will happen again, I’ll consult with the developers to get a more detailed explanation of the root cause.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
