I have found that when someone starts to "book a charter" and they make it as far as selecting the date. If they close the browser or back out of the booking process, it blocks the date they selected without payment. It shows as "Pending".
I dont want anyone to be able to block any dates without payment. How do I prevent this?
Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
This should not be possible on a select date. It is possible with certain payment provider due to the unique way they work that time slots is set to pending if they do not complete the purchase but this should not be possible to happen in Amelia on date selection. If you can replicate this issue, please send us a short one minute video of the issue and make sure that you are using latest version of Amelia.
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic

Regardless of whether or not it "Should" be possible, it's happening. We have square as the payment provider. I just downloaded the latest release and tested again, same issue. The appointment that books is showing "pending" but it blocks the ability for the next client to book an appointment on that day. I do NOT want this to be able to happen in the background. Please see video

Hello? I uploaded a screen recording documenting the issue. Can someone please respond?
Jason

Hello agian,
Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment to prevent this. In Square as well in Mollie, an appointment is created as "pending," and if the payment fails, you would need to manually cancel the appointment.
This payment method works in such a way because the slot needs to be reserved. In the future, we will explore whether it is possible to automatically cancel the appointment in such cases. However, this does not depend solely on us at this time, and we cannot make any promises.
For now, the process has to work this way, and you will need to manually cancel these appointments. Alternatively, you can try using Stripe, which processes payments directly via credit cards, as an example.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic
