We are experiencing an issue similar to the one described in ticket #2720, regarding multiple bookings being allowed on the same time slot after a previous appointment is marked as "Canceled."
At our company, we offer unique one-on-one services, and therefore we do not allow group bookings. The service capacity is set with both minimum and maximum values of 1, and the options “Book above or under maximum capacity” are disabled.
However, we’ve noticed that when an appointment is canceled, and we mark it as such in the appointments tab, the same time slot remains available. If another customer books that slot, they are added to the same appointment ID as the canceled one — effectively making it a group booking. This is highly inconvenient for our scheduling and internal management.
Has this issue been resolved in any of the latest updates? If not, do you have a recommended workaround or a timeline for a fix?
We would greatly appreciate your guidance on this matter.
Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We do not see any issue if you set it as canceled then it should be available. Also in Amelia only only admin can delete things so this is not a group booking it can show 2 customers in same appointment but when you edit it you can see that one of them is canceled and the other is approves. So this is not group booking because second one is canceled and you can remove it manually or not but this is still one on one appointment. Since in Amelia only admin cen delete this this will always show on the backend and this can not be changed this is how it is designed to work.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

Marko Davidovic
