We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
When I try to create my own appointment in the admin menu, I only see a limited time selection. But I want to choose the appointment myself. In the screenshot, you can see that an appointment at 1 p.m. isn't bookable for me. How can I change this? If I set the time window to 1 minute or 5 minutes, customers see a huge number of times when they select, which can be selected every minute. Customers lose track. As an admin, I want to be able to enter an appointment at any time.
Hello Tirol,
Thank you for reaching out!
To allow you to choose any time for appointments as an admin, you can adjust the following settings:
Go to Amelia > Settings > General and set the Default Time Slot Step to 10 minutes.
Then, navigate to Amelia > Settings > Roles > Admin and disable the Booking Time Slots will depend on the service duration option.
These adjustments should allow you to book appointments at any time without seeing the limitations you're currently experiencing.
Let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you need further assistance!
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

A default window of 10 minutes gives customers a huge number of options when choosing an appointment, which can be overwhelming for many. It would be good if the admin didn't impose any restrictions on creating appointments.
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback.
Indeed, Amelia currently uses a default time slot step of 10 minutes, which determines how often available time slots appear in the booking calendar (e.g., 9:00, 9:10, 9:20, etc.). This can result in many options, especially if services are short in duration.
At the moment, this is the default behavior and can't be restricted by the admin beyond adjusting the time slot step or modifying employee availability. However, your suggestion to offer more control over appointment slot generation is valid and has been noted for future improvements.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
