We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

I have a venue that is setup and customers can choose their duration, but I want them to be able to choose their own time slots not be put into time slots.  Choose their own start time and end time...

    Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Unfortunately, currently this feature is not available in Amelia. What you want to achieve is not possible, I'm afraid. In Amelia, you can only offer preselected time slots that you set in emplyoee work hours.

Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question, and we will gladly help you there.

We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

    Kind Regards,

    Marko Davidovic

Just for the record, this plugin was sold to me as a complete system that will allow me to use to rent out a venue with loads of features.  Seems like some very basic simple features are missing.  It would be a FANTASTIC feature to add to allow customers to book out a space.  For example, the building is open 12 hours a day and they want to rent the space for say 4 hours (a minimum) but they dont want to come at 9am-12pm but say 11am-2pm and still allow the buffer of 1 hour but allow the rest of the day for someone else to rent the space.  That simple feature alone would open your plugin up to a whole new audience and expand the sales of your plugin.  Not just in venue rental but also for example, batting cages or gymnasiums etc.  I highly recommend you work on this feature ASAP.

    Hello,

You described that you want users to select and insert the duration of the service from when to when they wish to book. Unfortunately, this is not possible in Amelia. In Amelia, the service working hours depend on what you set in the employee work hours.

For example, if you set the employee to work from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the service duration is set to 1 hour with a default time slot step of 5 minutes, users will be able to choose time slots in 5-minute increments. If they wish to book from 11:35 AM to 12:35 PM, they can select that, but they cannot choose a service that lasts for 1 hour and 35 minutes if the service duration is set to 1 hour.

So, you need to set the employee's working hours, and based on that, users can choose the time slot they want, but you will only offer them the time slots that you have created.

Additionally, each service can have a custom duration, which might help in your case. You can read more about it here: Custom Service Duration.

    We hope this option helps.

We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

    Marko Davidovic
