We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
I need to insert a block of time of 4.5 hours that starts at 1:30pm, but unfortunately it shows only times available that goes every 4.5 hours starting from 00:00am!! How can I solve this? I changed the slot time, the employee time availability, the start and end working time, but nothing changed.
Moreover I realized that the hours to choose start at 00:00am BUT... if the last appointment of the previous day ends at xx:30, and the first appointment of the next day lasts more than 30 minutes, the first availability is... 00:30am!!!!!! I think this is a real bug!!
The real problem is that I'm not free to choose any hour I like (within wordpress using Calendar function of Amelia plugin). How can you solve this form me?
What can I do?
Hello Marcello,
Most likely in your backend option "Allow admin to book appointment at any time" is enabled (Amelia - Settings - Role Settings - Admin), since you have this option enabled, you can book at any time (working hours, special days, and days off for all employees will be ignored).
For everyone else, besides admin, it looks the way you set it up.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

Hi Uros,
Thanks for the replay. But I set teh correct roles settings and I access as admin, but the problem is that a still can choose only the starting time that appears in the drop down menu, and this doesn't show the time I need to "block". For example my slots are 1.5 hours and should start from 9:00am and If one day from 11:00am to 13:00pm I'm out of my studio, I want that range not "available for booking. There for it should be not available the appointments of 10:30am and 12:00pm but then the next appontment available should be 13:00 pm and not 13:30. But the real problem is that I CANNOT choose 11:00am because it doesn't appear in the drop down menu...
How can I do this?
Hello Marcello,
Thank you for the update on this.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

Hi Uros,
thanks but... is not working. It looks like I can choose only time set into slot interval. For example If 'm busy one day from 5:15pm and 6:15pm (and therefore the next appointment available should start at 6:15pm, rather than 6:00pm as usual), I have created a "fake appontment" that last one hour but I cannot choose the time! It shows me only the time set by slot interval.
Hello there,
Uros is out of the office, so I will step in for him.
As far as we understand, you would like to block specific time slots at custom intervals from the backend. Unfortunately, this is not possible in Amelia.
From the backend, you can only create "fake" appointments (internal bookings), but they must follow the duration of the service you have configured.
You can place such appointments in any available time slot. To have more flexibility, you can go to General Settings and set the Default Time Slot Step to 5 minutes, and disable the “Use service duration when booking a time slot” option. This way, you’ll be able to place bookings every 5 minutes—but still only for the length of the selected service.
If you need to block any time slot at any interval of your choice, the best solution would be to connect a Google or Outlook calendar and link it to the employee. Then, you can create events directly in that calendar and set them as busy. That way, those times will automatically become unavailable for booking in Amelia.
We hope this clarifies how Amelia works in this regard.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question, and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

Hi Marko,
thanks for the replay. As far as I understood I cannot create a block in Amelia (very sad), but I think it shouldn't be so difficult to implement it...
Anyway, you are, on the other hand, telling me that if I create "this busy block" in my google calendar, this will appear in Amelia and Amelia itself will automatically sort out the real new appointment. Is it correct? So following my example if I create a busy block in google from 5:15pm to 6:15pm, Amelia will set the next available appointment at 6:15pm, rather than 6:00pm as usual. Is it correct this too?
If it is so, could you explain to me how to link google calendar to amelia? I read the tutorial and watched the video but it looks very complicated, moreover, sorry if I say that, but the guy how speaks in the video talks so fast that is quite difficult to follow him!! I've read I have to set Client Id, Client secret, etc... It is quite odd to get these info, but why instead it is not enough my email google account to create the link, I wonder...
Could you please help me for this too? Thanks.
Hi Marko,
I solved everything. You can close this ticket (I opened another one for the google calendar integration colours :-) ).
Thank you
