Hello
Would it be possible to do this one day with AMELIA?
Thank you
🧴💇♀️ Scenario: 2-stage highlights service (2h total)
You want:
A 30-minute start slot (application)
A 1h break (setting time)
Then 30 minutes finishing (rinsing, blow-drying)
All making 2h but not continuous.
⚙️ Is this possible with WP Amelia?
🟡 Partially.
Amelia does not natively allow a service to be split into several separate blocks within a single appointment.
✅ Possible workaround: create a “Package” or linked services
Here are 2 functional options:
🅰️ Option 1: Create two separate services
Service 1: Application mèches (30 min)
Service 2: Rinsing & brushing (30 min)
And leave a free hour between the two manually (or inform the customer)
🛠️ Tip: Add a note in the description to inform customers that there will be a break between the 2 parts of the service.
🅱️ Option 2: Use Amelia Pro “Packages”
Amelia Pro lets you create packages of several services.
Creates a “Complete highlights” package that includes:
Service 1: 30 min
Service 2: 30 min (bookable with time lag)
Customer books both separately, but in a package.
👎 Limitation: the tool doesn't automatically manage the break time between the two. It's up to the customer or admin to choose the appropriate times.
🔄 Alternatives?
If you want automatic “pose time” management, plugins like Salon Booking System or specialized hairdressing CRMs (Fresha, Planity...) do it better.
Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
When you have several questions or issues please open a new seperate ticket, and we will help you there. In that way, issues and questions that are related to different subjects will be in separate tickets so other customers or our support agents can find them easily.
Our policy is to have one issue or question per ticket because of the reasons that are described already.
Thank you for understanding.

⚙️ Is this possible with WP Amelia? - Unfortunately, currently this feature is not available in Amelia. As you mentioned service in Amelia can not be split in 2 parts

🛠️ Tip: Add a note in the description to inform customers that there will be a break between the 2 parts of the service. - You can do that but this does not gurantee that custoemrs will be able to book exacty time slots as you need them

Please note that Amelia is not a niche product designed exclusively for salons. It is built to support appointment booking across a wide range of industries. While we completely understand that this particular feature might be useful for salon-type businesses, that represents just a small segment of the overall market Amelia serves.
Our goal is to keep the plugin flexible and adaptable to the majority of use cases, which sometimes means we are unable to meet 100% of the market demand.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
