We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Issue with shared capacity – Slot becomes unavailable after first booking

    Hi,

I'm using Amelia to manage group tours with a fixed capacity (e.g. 20 participants per slot).

    Here's the issue:
When a customer books a slot (e.g. Monday at 10:30) for a group of 4 people, the slot becomes completely unavailable for other customers — even though there are still 16 seats remaining.

    I have already enabled:

    • “Allow multiple customers per time slot”

    • “Bringing anyone with you?” field

Still, the slot is marked as fully booked right after the first reservation, no matter how many seats are left.

This setup makes it impossible to sell the remaining seats for that time slot.
I need the slot to remain available until all 20 seats are filled, allowing multiple users to book the same time slot until the full capacity is reached.

Can you please let me know:

    1. Is this behavior expected?

    2. Is there a way to achieve what I described, maybe through custom code, filters, or a workaround?

    3. Will this feature be supported in a future update?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi Giuseppe,

Thank you for your message and for your detailed explanation!

The behavior you're experiencing usually happens when the option “Allow booking below minimum capacity” is disabled. Please go to Amelia → Settings → Appointments & Events, and make sure that this setting is enabled.

Once it's turned on, the time slot will remain available until the full capacity (e.g. 20 participants) is reached, allowing multiple customers to book the same slot until it fills up.

Let us know if this solves the issue or if you need further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Uros Jovanovic
