We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
As you can see in the screenshot below, I'm using the "new" WC Block which is mandatory for the user experience in my case.
The problem is that I need a way to resume the event data on this page and as you can see the data chosen from the Amelia payment settings and the metadata description settings for events, the WC Block escapes the HTML you use to format the text.
So this works fine in woocommerce emails or back-office order information, but in this case it doesn't at all, and that's a problem. All information is glued together, making it difficult to understand.
Is there a way to solve this , please?
Kind regards

Hello,
Thanks for reaching out to us. I believe this is fixed with the latest update. In our changelog we've stated that the issue when switching from HTML to Text mode is fixed. If you are using Amelia 8.2, and you configure the checkout description like this in HTML mode
On the checkout, it should appear like this
Feel free to test it out and let me know if it works.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Hello,
Thanks for your comments but that's not the problem here and as stated in my first post, it's only when the WC block component is used, there's no problem with the old woocommerce checkout / cart system.
I'm talking about this: https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-store-editing/customizing-cart-and-checkout/checkout-block/
There can be no HTML to format the text.
The idea would be (??) to have different :
1. wc-block-components-product-details__XXXXX
1.1 wc-block-components-product-details__name
1.2 wc-block-components-product-details__value
one block for each desired line.

Amelia provides all data in the form of a single metadata, which cannot be used correctly with the HTML due to the new WC block system.
Thank you
Hi HK,
I've already consulted with the developers regarding this. I'm waiting for their feedback, and as soon as I have it, I will get back to you with the information.
Thank you once again for your patience and understanding.

Hi HK,
Apologies for the delayed response. After troubleshooting, we've identified this issue as a bug. It appears to be related to the WooCommerce version, as the functionality works on the previous version. We plan to address this bug in future updates, though we can't provide an exact ETA at this time.
In the meantime, you can follow our changelog page to stay up to date with the latest updates.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Hello,
Thanks for the feedback, it's indeed because of the new version of the cart and checkout component of woocommerce which now uses react and js component. And which also removed all hooks and associated filters, the system is very different now with some + and many - . Everyone will make up their own mind about this version.
I think you can close this ticket and I'll wait for your updates!
Thanks again for your time.
