Can I change the word..EMPLOYEE ... to TRAINER? Is there CSS to customis ethe look of booking system?
Many thanks
Hello David,
Words can be changed using POEDIT for example very easily.
If you want to use POEDIT then this is an instruction:
1. Download the Amelia plugin from CodeCanyon and save the .zip file on your computer.
2. Unzip the downloaded .zip file.
3. You need to download and install POEDIT.
4. After that open the program and open the file from the extracted folder on your computer ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/wpamelia-fr_FR.po.
5. Translate all the strings that are not translated
6. Save the translation.
7. Go to ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/ folder and copy these two files called wpamelia-fr_FR.po and wpamelia-fr_FR.mo back to your website in the location ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages/fr_FR/.
This is an example of the French language, but you will choose yours.
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

Taking my last, yet unaswered question, I cannot see any "string" with the word emploee in it? There ar emany references to the word..emploee...under Source Text but no way to change these? Where3 do i find a "string" entry
Thanks you
Hello David,
Thanks again for your patience!
To change the word "Employee" to "Trainer" throughout the plugin using Loco Translate, here’s what you need to do:
Go to Loco Translate > Plugins > Amelia.
Choose the language you're using on your site (e.g., English (United Kingdom) or English (United States)).
Click on that language, then click “Edit”.
In the “Filter translations” search bar, type employee.
You’ll see a list of all strings containing the word employee. You can go through them one by one and in the translation field below, replace employee with trainer.
Click “Save” once you’ve updated each string.
⚠️ Please note that some strings may contain variables (like %s employee(s)) — be sure to keep the variable in place and just change the visible text.
This will update the text across all public-facing areas of the plugin that rely on those strings.
Let me know if you’d like help identifying specific strings to change!

Sorry. another question..
Your whole system appears to be built around having to appoint ‘employees’ to be selected for specific training courses. My clients does not need specific training personal or ‘employees’ They do not need to have the option to select an ‘employee’ or training person. They just need their booking system to show the training courses and dates. Can Amelia do this?
Hello David,
Thank you for your question!
You're absolutely right — Amelia requires "employees" to be created because they determine the availability of time slots for bookings. However, if your client doesn't need customers to choose a specific trainer or staff member, no worries — you can completely hide the employee selection from the front-end.
This way, employees will just function as background scheduling logic, while the booking form will only show the training courses and available dates — exactly what your client needs.
If you'd like, we can guide you through setting that up.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
