We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
We use Amelia for events and process payments through Mollie.
Other people have complained about this as well (see ticket 3779096 or 3650065), but there is an issue whereby it is possible to end up with a 'pending' status for payments performed through Mollie.
I think there are currently two separate issues here:
(1) If a payment comes back as pending they are never updated to canceled or approved but remain pending indefinitely. This can be fixed if you implement the Mollie webhook in Amelia. See: https://docs.mollie.com/reference/webhooks
(While you write under point 3 Processing payments on https://wpamelia.com/mollie-payment-gateway/ that they should be updated to Expired I've not seen this.)
(2) The Event Booked notification is sent for pending payments.
The issue here is that it is not possible to create a separate Event Paid notification to be enabled only. So either the Event Booked notification should only be sent for confirmed payments/orders, or it should be possible to create a separate notification with Event Paid.
For the fact that this is a paid plugin, we were rather disappointed that the plug-in is lacking on multiple points, and I'm really wondering if you should offer the Mollie integration at all in the current form... Please give it some love.
We currently need to check all pending orders on a regular basis which leads to manual work.
Thanks in advance,
Jaap
Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment. In Square as well in Mollie, an appointment is created as "pending," and if the payment fails, you would need to manually cancel the appointment.
This payment method works in such a way because the slot needs to be reserved. In the future, we will explore whether it is possible to automatically cancel the appointment in such cases. However, this does not depend solely on us at this time, and we cannot make any promises.
For now, the process has to work this way, and you will need to manually cancel these appointments. Alternatively, you can try using Stripe, which processes payments directly via credit cards, as an example.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]
