We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello, I hope you're doing well. I am reaching out due to a tricky situation I am in and hope to find some assistance. So, I am building a website for a psychiatrist, and she wanted the following set-up.
A public booking page on the website for clients to book a free 30-minute consultation. I am not completely done setting this up but this isn't causing any problems.
During the consultation, she will discuss which of her services will suit her client the best. Details will be discussed, and one of the four services will be offered. The tricky part is, that each client will be receiving a custom offer. Meaning the product description might be a little different, the duration and the price. When I purchased Amelia, I believed it would be easy to set it up as follows: After the free consultation, my client fills out a pre-written template and changes some details, and then sends out a link for her client to book this discussed service. Since this field of work requires some privacy, clients should always see only the one service that is meant for them. When they receive a link, they should only have to select a date and a time, then purchase through Stripe or PayPal, and that's it.
As far as I know, Amelia doesn't generate specific product links, but I just made a hidden service page for each of the four services. I am still open to suggestions to set it up differently. One problem that arose was that when she would adjust the details for service1 of one client, she couldn't right away change the details of service1 for another client, since it would be found on the same link.
I'm hoping for a tool in Amelia to set up the booking system I was hoping for. I thought it would be possible to set up adjustable services to be easily booked online. My client wanted this so that she doesn't have to deal with all the finance, invoices and finding a time to meet. As of right now, it's not making it so much easier.
Could you please assist me with this issue and try to help me? Thank you very much for your time, and I hope you understand the situation. If you need further information, please let me know. Have a great day!
Keanu
Hi Keanu,
Thank you for your message!
Unfortunately, Amelia doesn't have an option to generate specific links for each client with custom services and pricing. However, you can consider creating separate services for each client (with the custom details), and once the consultation is complete, send them the booking link for that specific service.
Let me know if you'd like further assistance or have any questions!
Best regards, Uroš

Hi, Uros. Thanks for the reply and for trying to help me. When doing my research, I guess I misunderstood the term customizable services and products. Creating a separate service for each client wouldn't be such a problem, but the issue then would be the placement on the website. It just would be very inconvenient for my client to have to deal with this.
Let's say the psychiatrist has 3 clients simultaneously and would like to send each one a custom offer. She has to go into WordPress, then Amelia, make a new service, and then save it. Assuming I have one WordPress page on which all services are listed, how can I send out the links so that each one of them only sees the one meant for them? Cause when I checked the URL the last time. Clicking through the services/booking system the URL does not change, meaning if I send the link of a custom service, when the client opens that link, it would start on the page where all services are listed. And I don't want that to happen. The only possible way to fix this is really having a new WordPress page for each service but I cannot expect the psychiatrist to do this. The website is supposed to make her life easier and not harder.
Unfortunately, it seems that I misunderstood Amelia's product description. If you have another possible solution, please let me know. Otherwise, I would kindly ask for a refund of the product as it has no use for me. This is my second freelance job and paying $300 for something that I cannot use would hurt me financially a lot. I hope you understand the situation I find myself in. Have a good weekend!
Keanu
Hello Keanu,
Thank you for your message and for explaining the situation in detail.
Unfortunately, at the moment, creating a separate service for each client is the only available option for sending custom offers, as the URL structure does not change when navigating through the services. I understand that this might not be the most convenient solution for your client, and I truly appreciate your feedback.
If you feel that this solution doesn't meet your needs, I can proceed with processing a refund for you. Please let me know if you would like me to proceed with that, and I will take care of it right away.
Thank you for your understanding, and I hope we can find a better solution for you in the future.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

Thank you, Uros! Someone else from TMS has proceeded with the refund already. So, it has been taken care of. Have a good day!
