Currently, the calendar appears to show only events. We need a calendar view for customers that combines both events and services, so they can see everything available in one place.
Is it possible to make the internal calendar from the employees’ dashboard visible to customers, or is there another way to display a full overview of events and services? - Unfortunately, currently this feature is not available in Amelia. these are completely separate and you cannot combine events and services. They work in two different ways and they can not be combined and shown on same forms.
But it doesnt make sense for me why calendar shows only events. Events consist of trainers which are working with services also also same trainer should build events which consists of trainers services. Why these two things are separate I just don't get it. Why all classes or lessons aren't visible? How customer can see which service is available when?
In the backend, you can view all appointments an employee has, as well as the events they are assigned to, in one place within the calendar section. However, combining events and services in a single booking form on the frontend would not make sense, particularly because events can function independently of employees.
Events have their own dedicated booking forms—List and Calendar—where only events can be displayed. Meanwhile, other booking forms allow the display of services. The backend calendar is intended solely for internal use and can only be accessed from the backend.
What you are requesting is not possible to achieve in any scenario.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question, and we will gladly assist you.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
You are not answering my questions or you are not trying to understand what I mean. And this is separate ticket.
How customer can see calendar and which service is available on which day and how many slots are available in this particular hour/service? Why only events has this calendar what calendar have services? We need some kind of availability calendar for services too. It's nice that calendar is available for internal use but also customers should see all events and services together so they can pick accordingly.
We understand what you are trying to achieve, but unfortunately, it is not possible, nor will it be possible in the future. As we have already mentioned in this ticket, it is not advisable to mix events—which can function without employees—and services, where employees are mandatory. These are two completely different forms that cannot and should not be combined.
We understand your request, but please keep in mind that when developing plugins and both new and existing forms, we rely on extensive use case studies and continuously monitor market trends. Out of approximately 90,000 users, only a handful have made a similar request. Additionally, from a technical standpoint, displaying this on the front end would not be feasible.
We acknowledge that there are specific use cases like yours where this might be desirable, but for the vast majority of users, it is not. Our development approach aligns with the broader market demand. Normally, I would encourage you to submit a suggestion, but in this case, to be fully transparent, this will not be implemented due to both market demand and technical constraints.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
