The event follow up notification does not work for us. I have set up the crons and it works for next day reminder but its does not work for event follow up. May I check on this?

Thanks for reaching out to us. The "event follow-up" notification template is the same as the "event next day reminder" notification. If the cron job is properly configured, then the issue is most likely with the notification template itself.
Have you configured the cron job via cPanel or using the WP Crontrol plugin in Amelia?
Here is how it should be configured:
Depending on your server setup, the configuration might differ. You can contact your hosting provider for assistance
Also, you can try this:
*/15 * * * * wget -q -O - "https://www.yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wpamelia_api&call=/notifications/scheduled/send"
Or this:

Or this:

WP Crontrol plugin is the best option if you're not familiar with cron jobs. You can find more info about it, and detailed instructions on how to set it up in our FAQ section.
So, if you already read that, and still need some clarification here's some further info.
You copy only the URL from below a scheduled notification:
Then, go to Tools/Cron Events, and click on the "Cron Schedules" tab. In it, add a 15-minute interval:
Then go back to the "Cron Events" tab and click on "Add new":
Below it, select the "PHP Cron event" radio button, and add the URL you copied from Amelia/Notifications in this form:
Below it add the name and set it to run a few minutes in the future, using the provided time format. So, if you're adding the cron event at 12:45 (local, current time), set it to run at 12:50; and then select the schedule you previously selected:
Click on Add Event, and that's it.
The cron runs every 15 minutes and checks if there's an email to be sent. So, in Amelia Notifications, your scheduled notifications are set to run every day at a certain time. If you set that time to be 15:00 (for example), the emails will be sent when the cron runs after that time.
For example, there's an appointment booked for tomorrow, and it's currently 14:44 - the cron runs, but since it's not yet 15:00, it doesn't send anything. It runs again after 15 minutes, so at 14:59, but there are still no emails flagged by Amelia, so it doesn't send anything. Then it runs again at 15:14 and it sees there's an email that should've been sent at 15:00, so it sends the email. It will only send emails when Amelia sees an appointment scheduled for the next day.

Hi Stefan, thank you for the reply. I have set up the cron jobs and the "event reminder" works fine but the "follow up" does not. May I know if this is a template issue?

It's most likely not the case—unless you've configured a custom notification template.
May I kindly ask for a screenshot, or the WordPress admin login details (along with the credentials), so I can take a closer look?

You should be using PHP option.

Apologies but I have the PHP event in the Cron Events set up a long time ago. You may be looking at the wrong one.

You're right—the other cron job is configured properly. However, I did notice something else: your timezone configuration isn't set correctly. Instead of using UTC, it's recommended to select the nearest city in your timezone. This could explain the delay in the event follow-up notifications.
Try updating the timezone to the closest city in your region and test it again.

The way to test the cron configuration is by placing the cron URL directly into your browser’s address bar. If you see the message “Successfully sent,” it means the cron job is working properly.
This is how it’s currently set up on your end, so the cron job itself appears to be functioning correctly.
You can also try reinstalling the WP Crontrol plugin since i can't delete the first cron job.

I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern, and your patience is highly appreciated.
Unfortunately, it looks like the credentials are no longer working. However, based on my last test, the cron job was configured properly. It's strange that one template is working but not the other, as this would suggest that the cron job configuration is functioning, but the notification template might be misconfigured. Since its been a couple days, have you had a chance to monitor if the template is sent??
