We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
When my customer attempts to pay the rest of their balance on the customer portal, they are met with a 500 error. I've tracked down the error when it is trying to hit this endpoint:
https://<my_site>/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wpamelia_api&call=/payments/link
I have payment links enabled in the Payment configuration. I have tried everything to rectify this. I am running version 8.1.1 (latest). I am not sure what else to try. Please advise as this is impacting business.

Hi Todd,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Hi Todd,
I was planning to change the Stripe credentials to test it with mine, but I realize that could temporarily disrupt the business. If possible, could you provide access to the staging site to avoid any issues during this process?
Kind Regards,

Hi Stefan, we do not have a staging site unfortunately. You can change the stripe credentials to test ones (I actually have some in there already) outside of normal business hours. 8am - 5pm Eastern Time. I noticed you are in a different timezone. As long as we are outside of those hours, you can change them. Has there been an obvious issue? Please let me know what you find.
Hi Todd,
Apologies for the delayed response. We previously encountered some issues with Stripe 3D Secure authentication, but a fix has been included in the latest update, Amelia 8.2.1.
If an admin creates an appointment for a customer, the payment link will only work if it has been added to the notification template. Additionally, the payment link won’t function if the full amount has already been paid in advance. This means you either need to enable the deposit option for the service, or—when creating an appointment from the backend—ensure that the payment link is included in the notification template.
Could you please update to the latest version, test it again, and let me know if it works?
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Hi Stefan,
Excuse me for jumping into this thread. I also updated to the latest version, Amelia 8.2.1, as suggested in this conversation.
However, I am still experiencing issues with the 3D Secure authentication as well. It seems this update has not resolved the problem for me either.
I have also opened a separate ticket regarding this ongoing issue.
Kind Regards,

Hi Stefan,
After updating to version 8.2.1, I am still seeing the same issue. We have the deposit option enabled on the site for the customer to pay half upfront and half at the completion of the job. Unfortunately, when the admin creates an appointment for the customer, we still get the same errors when the user tries to log in and click on the "Pay Now" method. Could you please investigate this further? This is a major issue with our site as customers cannot checkout and we cannot collect the remaining payment.
