Google calendar work for all existing employes and services booked by customers for all bookings, so the integration setting to google calendar must be correct.
I have added a new employee and service which looks fine and produces the booking notification both for the customer and the employee, however despite the new service booking getting adding to the Amelia calendar, it does not add this new booking into the google calendar. I have checked the integration setting which seem ok as other booking get added to the google calendar.

Have you connected this new employee to Google Calendar? This is not assigned automatically—you need to assign it in the employee settings. Each employee can either be assigned to the same Google Calendar or use their own calendar.
Hi Stefan and thanks for your reply. I did not realis that each employee had to have either their own calendar or be linked to an existing calendar. When can I find the details for the setup in the documentation?
