However, there is an option in the User Role settings that controls this behavior. It's called "Check customer's name for existing email/phone when booking". If this option is turned on, customers must use the same first and last name, along with the phone number, for their booking.

I'm experiencing an issue with how Amelia handles customer accounts. Here’s an example to illustrate the problem:
I fill out the first booking form with the following details:
Name: Jean Dupont
Email: [email protected]
Phone: 0498/01.02.03
→ Everything works correctly, and I receive the confirmation email at [email protected].
I then fill out a second booking form with these details:
Name: Julie Dupont
Email: [email protected]
Phone: 0498/01.02.03
→ However, the confirmation email is sent to [email protected] instead of [email protected].
It seems that Amelia considers these two bookings as belonging to the same customer, even though the names and email addresses are different.
How can I disable this automatic association? This is quite problematic.

This option is disabled. I have also disabled the "Automatically create an Amelia user" option
I have clients who book for different people but with the same phone number (e.g., a couple or a business).
