I’d like to make it possible for multiple guests to book appointments at the same time. For example, I want guests to be able to book 2, 3, or even 4 appointments at 15:00 on Saturday.
At the moment, when one appointment is booked at that time, the time slot disappears and can’t be selected by others. How can I change this so multiple appointments can be booked for the same time slot?
If you have the Packages feature activated (available in the Pro version), then:
The client can purchase a package that includes multiple sessions (e.g., 5 massage appointments).
After the purchase, they will be able to book all 5 sessions, either all at once or one by one, directly from the frontend.
🔹 This is the most elegant solution if you want to allow multiple bookings for the same service.
Thanks for your response, but that’s not exactly what I meant.
Let me clarify with an example: suppose I offer a service like a haircut, and I have two employees available. I want two different clients to be able to book a haircut at the same time—for instance, both at 15:00 on Thursday.
Right now, when one person books a haircut at 15:00, that time slot becomes unavailable for anyone else, even though there’s still capacity (since I have two employees). I assume there must be a setting I’m overlooking that allows multiple appointments for the same time slot, depending on staff availability.
You're correct—by default, Amelia prevents booking the same time slot. However, if you set the service maximum capacity to 2 or more and enable "Allow booking above minimum capacity" in Appointment settings, customers will be able to book the same slot until the maximum capacity is reached.
Feel free to test it out and let me know if it works.
