Hello,
I’m experiencing a recurring issue with the Amelia plugin. Every time I update the plugin, all the translations I previously made using Loco Translate are lost. This forces me to redo all the translations after each update, which is not sustainable in the long run.
Is there a solution to this problem, or a recommended way to preserve translations after updating the plugin?
I look forward to your response and appreciate your help.
Best regards,
Jorge Castro
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out.
The issue you’re experiencing happens because Loco Translate saves translations inside the plugin folder, which gets overwritten with each update. Unfortunately, we cannot preserve these files during updates, but there is a way to ensure your translations remain intact.
We suggest manually saving and restoring the translation file after the update:
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Kind Regards,
