Feature Request – Dedicated Single Event Page with Learn More Button

    Dear Amelia Team,

    I hope you’re doing well.

I would like to request an enhancement to the Amelia plugin that allows for a dedicated single event page. Currently, the available widgets and shortcodes focus on displaying event lists or a single event list, but there is no option for a direct single event page.

At the moment, the "Learn More" button only opens a pop-up window, which limits our ability to optimize individual events for SEO. A dedicated single event page would not only improve search visibility but also allow us to share a direct event link with our audience, making it easier for them to access specific events without confusion.

I also noticed that the Elementor widget Amelia - Events offers an option to display a specific event, which is close to what we need. However, it appears outdated, and I’m unsure if it can still be used reliably.

It would be highly beneficial if an update could introduce this feature, ensuring better usability and event promotion. I appreciate your consideration of this request and look forward to your feedback.

    Best regards,

    Hello Walid,

    Thank you for reaching out.

While a dedicated single event page isn't currently available as a built-in feature, you can create separate pages manually for each event and use the following shortcode to display a specific event on that page:

    [ameliaeventslistbooking event=1]

Just replace the “1” with the ID of the event you wish to display.

This way, you can still achieve the desired effect for each event page.

Let me know if you need any further assistance!

    Kind Regards,

    Dear Uroš,

Thank you for your response and for suggesting the shortcode workaround. I have already implemented this method by creating custom pages for each event and adding the event description and details manually. The shortcode for displaying a specific event works well and is a great feature.

However, I noticed that when using this approach, the "Learn More" button opens the event description within the plugin, requiring them to scroll down before booking. This adds an extra step that could be streamlined for a better user experience.

Would it be possible to have an option to replace the "Learn More" button with a direct "Book Now" button? This would significantly speed up the checkout process and improve conversions by allowing attendees to proceed directly to booking without unnecessarily scrolling and reading the description again.

This small adjustment would be a game-changer in enhancing the user flow. I’d love to hear your thoughts on whether this could be considered in a future update.

    Looking forward to your feedback!

    Best regards,
    Walid Shihaden
