I am on 8.1.1. I do not use WP users I use Amelia users. Most likely introduced with the update to 8.1. No one existing or new users can set passwords or update them.
when i try to reset any password like in the screenshot
i end up with a password reset link, that look like this:
There is a emergency workaround for those that have this issue you can set passwords directly on the user in the database.
However there is a catch sometimes Amelia uses the passwords from WP directly if you enabled WP users if not it uses their own password methods to generate and validate.
Most emergency fix is to duplicate a password from user A from the mysql database where you know the password in cleartext and update the password for user B with the same one in the database. Whatever is used WP or Amelia password hashing the duplication of course works.. You just have to log in the database and figure out the hashed password to copy from user A and the user id from user B then you can update
UPDATE wp_amelia_users SET password = '<hashed-pass-from-user-A>' WHERE id = <id-of-the-user-B>;
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

EDIT: Updating my comment! I'm now seeking the login page when not logged in, but when creating a new password, I'm unable to move past that page. You can try changing the password at https://pilatescolours.ca/login Just like the first poster commented below. New customers are stuck without being able to create a password to access their customer panel.
As of now (I know it was okay last week), my login page isn't showing the Amelia login box or customer panel unless logged in. (E.g. as an admin I can see it, but not when in incognito mode), or not for new clients of mine who are clicking the login page.

when i click on it, i can change my password and when i click on change, i get redirected to the same URL without the token parameter like so:
page-with-customer-panel/customerpanel?changePass=1
but this redirect does not work. it appears this instead:
all new customers are now stuck and can not login or book any appointments. Its pretty severe for me now.

I wanted to let you know that we have noted this as a bug, and it will be addressed in one of the future updates.
This issue arises when the Employee Panel is not activated. To resolve this, please follow these steps:
Go to the Settings menu in your Amelia dashboard.
Navigate to the Roles Settings section.
Look for the option to Enable Employee Panel and make sure it is turned on.
Enabling the Employee Panel will ensure that customers can successfully change their customer panel password until we fix this issue.
Please let us know if this resolves the issue or if you need further assistance.
