Hi, I have linked the Amelia plugin to Google Calendar, but it only links to me when someone makes a reservation from the website. If I make any changes to Google Calendar, it does not link to the website. I feel bad about this for work, since the ideal is to link it completely. I don't know if this is an Amelia error, because I have everything connected.
Hi Estefania,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Once connected to a Google Calendar, new appointments will be added automatically, but existing appointments will not be retroactively synced. To sync past appointments, simply edit and save them. Changing the linked Google Calendar will not transfer events to the new calendar automatically.
Google Calendar integration can only block events marked as "Busy." If an event isn't blocked, ensure it’s set to "Busy" in Google Calendar.
Currently, the integration is not a full 2-way sync, meaning moving or deleting an event in Google Calendar won't affect the appointment in Amelia.
I hope it helps.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
