And thank you so much for your help. I recently launched a new revised website and have chosen Amelia as my booking integration through Elementor. I have been working with a web designer who has largely been involved in setting this up. While I am familiarizing myself with Amelia, what I am noticing and getting feedback on is that the bookings that have been made, no one is receiving any kind of notification of the booking. The current and myself are only receiving a notification of a purchase from Square, no confirmation of appointment time or date via email or SMS.
As I try to remedy the situation, It appears like all notifications are checked “on”. I have also attempted to send myself a test email and it notifies me that emails are not being sent. I’m not sure what the missing link is, but in the meantime, this is kind of a booking disaster.
Also, what I am hearing from clients is that when they purchase a package they’re not prompted to book a session and they’re finding it difficult to figure out how to move forward with booking a session after purchasing a package. I can’t figure out a way to explore the client journey and experience what they are seeing without actually going through it myself and creating a purchase For myself that I obviously don’t want or need. I would love to set up a call of some sort to walk through this with someone because this seems pretty dysfunctional and I need to receive some education on how to remedy all of this. Also, I need to understand how to initiate refunds.
Thanks for reaching out to us. When it comes to notifications, it important to have it configured to SMTP protocol. Emails that are sent via WP Mail or Mailgun are usually flagged as spam or they are not sent at all. Instead, we recommend switching to SMTP by following the instructions from this link.
I uploaded these images to show I followed the video accordingly to set up SMTP and when I attempted to send a test email, it still notifies me that the email was not sent.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
