Sometimes, maybe 10% of the time, notifications, aren't getting sent. I have FluentSMTP which logs emails sent out; and it confirms that they are not getting sent out.
When it doesn't work, it doesn't get sent to me nor the client, and it also doesn't create an event in google calendar. But it does get created in Amelia.
Is this expected behaviour - and would using something like Elastic or other transactional email delivery systems be more suited? Or do you have other ideas?
The usual issue occurs when there's a third-party SMTP configuration in addition to the Amelia email settings. In most cases, this setup works fine, but we always recommend configuring the SMTP notifications directly within Amelia. Sometimes, emails can be marked as spam or not sent at all.
Could you try configuring the email settings directly in Amelia and test it out?
