I'm having problems regarding the procedure to have customers' login and setup their password. Infact If the customer is not worpress user the Customer Panel always shows Enter new password but when the user does it, nothing change and the password is not set. If instead the user became wordpress user too, at the first appontment an email to set the password is sent (it looks like to me from wordpress not from Amelia and this is also a problem because is not customizable). The biggest problem is that if the customer does not have an email, the SMS does not contain the link to set the password. Nevertheless all this procedures seems to me very complicate.
Is there any way that the user can set a password just before his/her first appointment? I cannot use Customer Panel before the first appointment because it gives me an error.
And after that is it possible then that the user can have the password without becoming a wordpress user too?
Thanks for reaching out to us. Please allow me to explain a bit more. The customer must have a WP user account to be able to log in to the Customer Panel. This account is created manually when a customer books an appointment. The email is sent from Wordpress, because the customer account is Wordpress account (this is optional) and we do not have control over this email. It is sent by default each time a new customer is created or the user account details are changed.
There is no option for customer to manually create a new account through Customer Panel. Customer must book an appointment first and then he will receive an email with the information. It's also important to configure the customer panel properly. You can find more information on this link.
I hope it helps, but of course, should you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
thanks for your reply. The main problem is that sometimes patients do not insert/have email, therefore it looks like they cannot access to their appointments to reschedule/cancel them. Therefore with this situation is pointless to have also a WP user because they cannot have a password login. Moreover I cannot set compulsory to insert a password because if he/she hasn't one I risk not to have a new customer/patient. How can I sort this out? Thank you in advance.
There is an option to set the email as mandatory field. They wont be able to book without the email inserted. This is important because they need to use both email and password credentials to log in to the customer panel. However, there is another option via the access link. If you disable the option "require password for login", the access link will be sent, but only within the email notification. This also means that they would need to book an appointment first.
It's not, but it's recommended. They cant access the customer panel without these credentials (unless you enable the access link option)
Yet again, if they don't enter email address, they wont receive any notification about the booking, is it approved or pending and etc. (including the customer panel access)
well they receive the notification via SMS (The phone is mandatory!). Thats why I asked to "Generate by myself" the link to insert new password so I would insert such link into the SMS (too). Any other solution?
By the way, How can I set to display the "Italian Flag" to appear as default international code number in the field "Insert Phone Number"? It always appear the USA one.
I see. Well, the customer panel link is generated with the email confirmation, you can try adding the customer panel placeholder in SMS template. When customer books an appointment, in SMS they would see the content including the customer panel link. The SMS template works the same as the normal emails.
As for the flag, there is an option in General settings, Default Phone country code
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
You currently have a Starter license. Unfortunately, this license has some limitations—you won’t be able to configure customer/employee panels, and placeholders are not available. To access these features, you’ll need at least a Standard license.
You can upgrade through your TMS Store account, or if you prefer, you can request a refund and purchase a new license.
I believe that if I upgrade to the standard version I should pay only the difference with the licence I already have which is 40€ (89-49=40), Do you confirm it?
Moreover, what about the italian flag as default in the phone number field? Why even I set it as default, it always appear the USA one?

Waiting for your two answers.
Thank You!
Hi Marcello,
That's correct, you will pay the upgrade price. Here is an example -
You bought a Basic Yearly license for Amelia, which costs $69 (roughly $0.19 per day).
After 100 days, you want to upgrade to 3-domain Pro Yearly, which costs $199 (roughly $0.55 per day).
Time remaining on Basic (what going to reduce the upgrade price): $50.35 (265 * 0.19)
Time spent on Basic: $55 (100 * 0.55)
Time remaining on Pro: $145.75 (265 * 0.55)
So, the price is not Pro - Basic (199-69=130), but instead a pro-rated charge, and you are going to be charged around $147.75 - $50.35 = $97.4.

As for the Italian flag, it's already pre selected and shown as default. This is shown on the booking form / customer information step
