the login box that pops up inside Amelia doesn't work with the Wordpress user information?
Why?
Is there a way to redirect to the working login page instead of showing the Amelia login box?
this login works

this one doesn't

Hi Doug,
Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm not sure which pop-up you're referring to, but just to clarify—WP login credentials must be unique and cannot be used to log in to the Customer or Employee panel.
A WP user with admin access can log in to the WordPress site, but Amelia is a standalone plugin and does not display a login box unless you're using the Employee or Customer panels, as mentioned.
Kind Regards,

yes I am referring to the employee and customer panels
when users are already logged into wordpress - the login box shows up for some people but not others.
then when they try to login with the wordpress credentials - it says they are invalid
We had a ton of existing "Customers" that I switched to "Amelia Customers" after purchasing your plugin.
Why in the world would you make it 2 separate user accounts?
It seems very inefficient and causes a lot of issues with our users - who are people suffering from illnesses - therefore not tech savvy and easily frustrated.
Hi Doug,
You also need to ensure that they are assigned to the correct WP users. If you have Amelia Customers created in the Amelia Customer section, make sure they are linked to a WP user with the same user role. This will allow them to access the Customer Panel without needing to create two separate accounts.
Just to clarify, I was referring to WP admin user accounts—admins cannot log in to the Amelia Customer Panel or the Employee Panel.

How to I make all of my past Woocommerce "Customer" roles automatically be "Amelia Customer" roles
having 2 seperate logins is not going to work for our clients - it's too complicated
I just don't get why Amelia has it's own user system - when Wordpress already has one.
How can I make new Wordpress users automatically be an Amelia Customer
Hi Doug,
All new customers who booked an appointment (not registered previously) will have the WP user with the corresponding user role and they are automatically assigned if the option in User Role is enabled.
However, for the previously created WP users with Amelia Customer role, you can use the integration with BuddyBoss. There are two other options in connection to users here, for creating customers and employees in Amelia if there are users with these roles in the WordPress Users list, so by clicking on the Create Amelia Customers or Create Amelia Employees buttons, WP users that have these roles will be automatically created in Amelia as customers or employees accordingly.
More info on this link.
