Error You are trying to load a table of an unknown type. Probably you did not activate the addon which is required to use this table type.
What addon am I supposed to be activating. We have the premium version and I am not seeing any additional plugin to enable. Seems this should work correctly upon update.
This error can happen if you used an add-on to create a table, for example, if you had an integration with a Form Plugin;
or if you previously had our Premium Version of wpDataTables which has some additional table types that are not available in free/Lite Version, and then if you removed or deactivated that add-on on your site, or if you somehow downgraded from Premium to Lite, but have a table which is not available in Lite, you would get this error.

Can you please confirm what is the table type of the shortcode you have on this page?
If you had a Manual Table - this table type is not available in our Free Plugin Version;
so if that is the case, this will certainly solve the issue if you purchase any premium Licence.
The best way to isolate what table type you have is :
1. First edit your WP Page and check what is the Table ID on our Shortcode.
It will be something like :
[wpdatatable id=1]
Just check what is the actual Table ID on your Page.
2. Now, go in the Back-End of wpDataTables, then check what does it say as the "Type".
If it says "Manual" or "SQL" , then if you get any premium Licence and install the premium version of the Plugin, these tables will load for you.
But, if it says something like "Gravity", or "Forminator" - for that you would need premium wpDataTables but also additionaly a premium Form integration add-on ( depending what kind of tables you have).
So please check which Table types you have - for any Manual or SQL Query based Tables, they are included with any Premium licence ( Basic, pro or Developer);
but if you see any Form integrated Tables ( Gravity or Forminator) for them you need additional premium Add-on to be purchased.
Let me know how it looks and we can advise further if needed.
2. You mentioned that the issue is not present if you install a premium version after 7.1xx. Our current latest premium version is 7.1.1, so please keep this one installed.
The 3.4.XX is our free/Lite Plugin version, so if you somehow downgraded to the Lite Plugin, this would explain the issue.
I can see you have an active license, so if that happens, please follow the steps explained here, it is a step-by-step explanation of how you can safely remove the Lite version and install + activate the Full version.

How long must we wait for a response? Your plugin is not working and we need it to ASAP.
Site runs with the past 7.1.XX version, but not with the new 3.4.XX
