We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
I see that there are many issues with time zones, so I want to ensure from the back-end that the employee knows what time zone the client is in, and what date/time they book their appointment for.
I set up a test to make sure it displayed correctly. I changed my laptop's time zone to another time zone. When I tested the booking, I noticed the time zone displayed correctly above the calendar. When the notification came through on the email, it showed correctly for the employee and the client. However, the %time_zone% placeholder in the employee's email showed the employee's time zone, and not the client's.
How can I ensure this is showed correctly? Is there any possibility in the future additional placeholders could be created so that the employee can see on their email what date/time and time zone the client booked in? Therefore, they can always compare them to make sure they are accurate.
Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
This is not necessary we will explain in more detail.
Admin on the backend see appointments in time zone that you have set up in WordPress
Customers see the appointment in the booking time zone that is set on their device
As for employees they see the booking in a time zone that you have set in theri emplyoee modal
So customer can see that appointment is at 1 am for example but employee will see time in theri time zone at 5 pm for example. So there will be no missed appointment every user admin, customer and employee will see the time in their time zone.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]

Thank you for the follow up. I'm going to trust your word that this system is accurately showing everyone's date and time according to their time zone correctly. However, what about the %time_zone% issue? When this placeholder is put in the employee's email notification, it shows the employees/Wordpress time zone and not the client's time zone.
Hello again,
Employees get the time and the time zone that is set in their employee modal you just make sure that you copy paste the placeholder %time_zone% from employee notifications section.
If you copy paste from customer section it will not work even if it looks the same %time_zone%.
So click on employee notifications then on show mail placeholder and then copy paste the correct placeholder.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
Kind Regards,
Marko Davidovic [email protected]
